about

Originally a handmade CD release in 2004. A limited supply of these are available to order here on the site.

From the original 2004 liner notes:

You do what you have to do. This recording felt like it had to be done. Otherwise it would've just been left to rot in the ol' thought banks. That's never good, right?

Each word in parenthesis is a dreamword stolen by yours truly. Hmmm...

The only instrument used on this recording was the Chapman Stick. If you don't know what that is, you can find out at stick.com.

The first four tracks were recorded live and have not been monkeyed with. The fifth track has three stereo overdubs--so it has most certainly been monkeyed with.

I'd like to thank these people for inspiration: Vonda McLeod, Greg Howard, Emmett Chapman, Ed Nehring, all the Liquid Brick guys and everyone involved in the Alabama Improv Co-op.--JM, May 2004

credits

released November 13, 2020

Tracks 1-4 were recorded live by Adam Vincent at Sarcophagus Studios Annex in the Ultimate College Nightmare city of Auburn, AL on 11/23/03.

Track 5 was recorded at The (old) Subversive Workshop blue room in the Ultimate Ignorant Experience city of Montgomery, AL on 2/19/04.

It was all mixed and mastered by Jeff at the same place that track 5 was recorded.

Art sketched by Brandon Marvin, drawn by Brian Carroll & constructed by Brandon based on a goofy idea.

A limited supply of the original handmade CDs are available here on this site!
